Neuro ("we", "our", or "us") is an ADHD-focused productivity app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
📦 Data We Collect
- Task & note data: Stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. We do not upload your personal tasks to our servers.
- Anonymous analytics: Screen views and feature usage via Firebase Analytics. No personally identifiable information is included.
- Crash reports: Technical diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs. These do not identify you personally.
- Subscription status: Whether you have an active Neuro Pro subscription, to unlock Pro features.
- Calendar & Reminders (optional): If you use the import feature, Neuro reads your calendar events and reminders locally to create tasks. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
🤖 AI Features
When you use AI Task Breakdown or AI Coach, your task text or chat messages are sent to our secure backend to generate a response. We do not store, log, or train AI models on your personal content. Requests are processed in real-time and discarded after a response is returned.
🔐 How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve app features
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- To understand aggregate, anonymous usage patterns
- To process subscription purchases (handled entirely by Apple)
🤝 Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google): Analytics and Crashlytics for anonymous usage and crash data. Google Privacy Policy →
- Apple In-App Purchases: Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment information. Apple Privacy Policy →
- AI Provider: AI-generated responses for task breakdown and coaching. Your messages are not retained beyond the immediate request.
🗂️ Data Retention
- Analytics data: up to 14 months (Firebase default)
- Crash reports: 90 days
- Task data: stays on your device; deleted when you uninstall the app
- AI request payloads: not retained after response is sent
⚙️ Your Rights
- Opt out of analytics via iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking
- Delete all local data by uninstalling the app
- For EU residents: you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data — contact us below
👶 Children's Privacy
Neuro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
